Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Strong experience in Java
- Understanding of container technologies
- Interest in AI principles including prompt engineering, RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) data transformations and vectors
- Strong analytics and problem-solving skills
- Experience with git, other source control practices, and various development tools
- Experience using and developing APIs
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- Interest in z/OS and mainframe technologies
- Experience with CI/CD methodologies, Tekton, ArgoCD
- Agile Application Development & Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of programming language syntax and grammar
- Knowledge of COBOL, JCICS, Python, Golang
- Ability to define test strategies including AI and non-AI solutions
Skills You Will Develop
- Understanding of AI technologies, especially Large Language Models (LLM)
- Handling challenges of training, testing, benchmarking, and validating AI-generated content and code
- Understanding business applications of AI and Watsonx platform value for IBM clients
