Job Description
As a Software Engineer at Airbus, you'll contribute to industrial projects on Simulation Modelling and optimisation by developing custom software libraries. Your key activities will include:
- Evaluating current and future industrial system needs and developing logistic and manufacturing simulation libraries in a Discrete Event Simulation environment.
- Using and executing processes, methods, and tools dedicated to industrial system design.
- Supporting industrial flow simulation modelling and addressing key Airbus industrial challenges by providing suitable software libraries.
- Testing the Industrial System Manufacturing Line design through pilot cases in plants/FALs following the industrial deployment strategy with a ‘I do, we do, you do’ logic.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in software programming, preferably Java.
- Strong logical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in software development, deployment, and testing.
