Role Overview
The successful candidate will be part of the Threat Intelligence team reporting to our Head of Threat Intelligence as part of our Hyderabad-based team. You will provide services for Enea clients in areas like Messaging Abuse Prevention, Messaging Revenue Protection, and Signalling Protection. If you have a keen interest in security and seek a challenging role in the telecoms industry, this position is for you. You must be detail-oriented, passionate about accuracy, and comfortable communicating with clients on both technical and commercial levels. Work alongside an experienced regional lead analyst to deliver world-class services and contribute to the evolution of Enea’s products and services.
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- B.Tech degree in computer science or telecom-related field
- Strong interest in telecom and security technology
- Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment
- Basic familiarity with SQL/Database concepts
- Ability to communicate concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with messaging systems and architectures
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, and DNS
- Understanding of GSM network fundamentals
- Knowledge of shell scripting or a scripting language (e.g., Python, Ruby, Perl)
Core Role Responsibilities
- Create and maintain security solutions on Enea’s client platforms
- Stay updated with the telecom threat landscape
- Analyze data from customer deployments to identify and investigate threats
- Provide security reviews for Enea’s clients; manage client expectations independently
- Work autonomously with minimal supervision, supported by a team lead and a global team of analysts
