Job Opportunity: Associate Engineer - QA (Fresher)

Numerator is looking for a fresh candidate to join our Engineering team as an Associate Engineer - QA. In this role, you will develop, document, and execute test cases and automation scripts for our products. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, successfully multitasking and engaging fully in QA activities. Interaction with stakeholders from the QA, Product, and Development teams is a key part of this role.


What You'll Bring to Numerator

As a member of the QA team, you'll work on both existing and new initiatives, adopting agile methodologies such as Scrum, Behaviour Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.

  • Passout years: 2022, 2023, 2024.
  • Qualification: BE/BTech/ME/MTech/BSc/BCA/MCA.
  • Knowledge of Core Java and Python.
  • Understanding of SDLC and software testing concepts.
  • Basic RDBMS concepts and data querying skills (added advantage).
  • Ability to handle both automation and manual QA tasks.
  • Designing and manually creating test scenarios and test cases.
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, applying them in test automation script development.
  • Troubleshooting issues, debugging test cases, and fixing errors.
  • Executing tests, analyzing results, and reporting.
  • Defect reporting and tracking using any defect management tool.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Ability to work as a team player and independently.

Exceptional Candidates Will Have

  • Knowledge of Agile methodology, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and exposure to Jenkins or CircleCI (added advantage).
  • Experience with Selenium, BDD, security testing, and performance testing using JMeter.
