Software (SWA) involves defining, specifying, and allocating requirements from various sources using systems engineering processes. This includes processing use case and feature requirements into conceptual models, operational scenarios, technical requirements, and functional descriptions. It covers specification, design, implementation, and unit testing of software (e.g., device drivers, microcode, hardware-related software &firmware) according to the requirements and architecture defined in the systems engineering process. It also includes establishing and maintaining Software Configuration Management (SCM) practices into software development projects, continuously building and integrating infrastructure tools and systems.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Perform routine assignments within standardized procedures and practices with regular supervision to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others and use your knowledge and existing procedures to solve standard problems.
  • Analyze, design, develop, and test products/services/improvements/bug resolutions for integrated hardware/software systems as per customers’ requirements.
  • Resolve customer trouble tickets and diagnose complex problems/issues. Provide resolution or recommend corrective actions. Plan technical requirements based on customers’ needs.
  • Develop SW/HW build-controlled production releases. Define product hardware/software evolutions through the creation and release of hardware/software documentation.
  • Retain technical and design knowledge for assigned products and technologies and provide training to lower support teams (Tier 2 and Tier 3).
  • Apply and maintain quality standards. Participate in process and tool evolutions and improvements.
  • Contribute to the fastest problem restoration in emergency cases as part of the SW Care process.
