Job Description
As a software engineer at Qualcomm, you will design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets, which are based on cutting-edge technology. This role involves working on various multimedia technologies like audio and video codecs, image processing, and wireless modem technologies including 4G, WiFi, and Bluetooth. You will also work on platform level software such as Linux, Android, Windows, and Board Support Packages, as well as IoT technologies for connected cameras, smart assistants, drones, virtual reality, and augmented reality.
Requirements
- Energetic, creative, and self-driven engineer
- Experience in multimedia technologies (Audio/Video codecs, Image Processing)
- Knowledge of wireless modem technologies (4G, WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.)
- Proficiency in platform level software (Linux, Android, Windows, BSP)
- Experience with IoT technologies (Connected Cameras, Smart Assistants, Drones, VR, AR)
Job Responsibilities
- Develop real-time embedded software and device drivers
