Job Summary
To support our exceptional teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking for a Technician – GBS Engineering in Coimbatore.
Experience and Skills Required
- Diploma or B.Sc graduate with 0-2 years of experience as an NPI/ECO Engineer in a manufacturing setup, preferably in the EMS industry.
- Hands-on experience in NPI (New Product Introduction), ECO (Engineering Change Order management), and BOM (Bill of Materials) Management.
- Experience with any PLM software linked to the ECO process.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory.
Typical Day-to-Day Tasks
- Creating part numbers for BOM in agile and Baan systems.
- Creating AVL in agile and Baan systems.
- Downloading and releasing customer documents such as product specifications in CDC.
- Working as a Change Analyst during NPI for new changes.
- Releasing part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation.
- Managing ECOs efficiently for manufacturing sites globally.
- Using Agile (PLM) system for ECO creation, reviewing, routing, tracking, releasing, and distribution.
- Coordinating closely with the site Process/Product Engineering team.
- Reviewing product updates/modifications with Engineering and materials teams.
- Responding to queries related to Engineering Change Orders from Business Partners and customers.
- Ensuring adherence to targets set for all process metrics.
