Job Description:

As an Associate Developer at AXA, you will be responsible for managing Finance Calculations and Enterprise Datawarehouse systems. This role involves leading the development team, collaborating with Finance business and IT teams to define and implement functional enhancements, and ensuring smooth operations within the Enterprise Finance Architecture.


Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience in ETL design and development using Informatica.
  • Proficient in Database concepts with MS SQL Server and Oracle knowledge.
  • Experience in SQL scripting and using scheduling tools like Autosys.
  • Knowledge in configuring Informatica and SQL Server.
  • Willingness to engage in all aspects of the ETL development cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, deployment, and support.
  • Experience in .NET development is a plus.

Desired Skills and Abilities:

  • Certification in Informatica or SQL Server.
  • Understanding of the insurance domain.
  • Knowledge of Cloud computing and data bricks concepts.
  • Experience working with agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with Big Data concepts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective multitasking, organization, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate technical development activities across onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality work that meets business requirements.
  • Act as the IT subject matter expert (SME) for specific applications.
  • Perform Application Developer duties as needed.
  • Provide accurate work estimates at various stages of the project.
  • Contribute to testing strategy, configuration, deployment, and hardware/software requirements.
  • Support defect resolution during application testing phases.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business teams.
  • Review project plans, identify gaps, and provide feedback on timelines and feasibility.
  • Participate in Knowledge Transfer (KT) sessions with business teams and offer feedback on requirements.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with business users, developers, and the application support team.

You will report directly to the Technical Lead.
