Position Summary

As a Data Analyst at Bentley, you will be at the forefront of data exploration, cleaning, and preparation. Your role involves summarizing and visualizing data, identifying anomalies, and applying data mining techniques like clustering, classification, and regression. With a strong background in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis tools like R, SAS, Excel, and Tableau, you will uncover insights that drive business decisions.


Data Analyst Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience as a data analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong ability to assess risks and analyze tools and databases for software solutions.
  • Proficiency in translating business requirements into nontechnical language.
  • Experience in managing large-scale databases and understanding metadata standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Data Analyst Responsibilities

  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Ensure data quality and work closely with quality assurance analysts.
  • Commission and decommission data sets.
  • Develop reports and analyses while managing the reporting environment.
  • Support data warehouse initiatives and reporting requirement revisions.
  • Assist with software upgrades and provide recommendations on new systems.
  • Generate reports from multiple systems and troubleshoot reporting issues.
  • Train end-users on new reports and dashboards.
  • Provide expertise in data storage, mining, and cleansing.
