Qualifications
- BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, 2023 graduate.
- 0-1 year of relevant experience in automotive powertrain or related fields.
- Strong analytical skills in the mechanical domain.
- Knowledge of differentials, gears, bearings, splines, and related manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency in GD&T and experience working with 3D drafting tools like Creo.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Support design activities for New Product Development (NPD) and current product engineering projects.
- Collaborate with technical leads to ensure timely project deliverables.
- Work closely with internal teams, including test labs, manufacturing, and project management.
- Create packaging layouts and design concepts using 3D tools like Creo.
- Leverage engineering fundamentals and analytical skills for design optimization.
- Conduct assembly stack-up and tolerance analysis to refine product designs.
- Apply knowledge of Six Sigma tools and methodologies for design improvement.
Skills Required
- Experience in automotive powertrain design is a plus.
- Proficient in mechanical design, material knowledge, and engineering standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and capable of leading projects efficiently.
